I live in Ferndale. Our home overlooks the bay and we have a wonderful view year around since the neighbors cut down their trees. We have a blended family, yours, mine and ours. The oldest two (his and mine)being almost 40 (boy and a girl),a 38 year old girl(his), a 36 year old girl(mine) and the youngest girl(ours)is 26. We have 10 grnadchildren and love them all to bits. We both ride motorcycles and love to take trips on them. I think the first trip we took together was right after we got our Goldwing in 94. We went to Sturgis, S.D. for the bike ralley. Boy was that a real eye opener and saw things that I will take to my grave. Had lots of fun though. Did lots of site seeing and did the tackey tourist thing. Went back again in 2001 when we got another new Goldwing. Had to test it out. My husband an I are both retired, (him from a brain tumor in 2003 an I from a bad industrial accident in 1999). We spend as much time on the bikes as the weather allows, which is not enough for the weather we have around here. Well here is to the weather change some day, back on the bikes and off riding and camping...... (2015) Well a few years have passed since I wrote this. My husband is still with me. The brain tumor has not come back which amazes the doctors since they gave him 3-18 month and that was in 03. I am still very active minus a few surgeries I have had to have on my back, knees and right shoulder. Other than that I am very active. I still ride my motorcycle all over with my girlfriend since my husband no longer rides. The children have aged a few years and so have the grandchildren, and now I have a great-granddaughter who is almost 3. I...Expand for more
