Cathy's Story
I am a retired nurse(due to Cancer), I only work in the summers at a boy scout camp in Mena, AR. I love it. I have been married for 26 years to the same man. My husband was active duty Air Force for 23 years, and now works for the Army. I have 4 children 2 boys, 2 girls. My oldest son just got married in April and my oldest daughter will be getting married in 2009. My oldest daughter has her degree in Marketing and Managment and is working on her masters in teaching, should be done this summer. She lives in Texas. My sons are both going into the Air Force, much to my pleating not too. My youngest son will graduate this month with a Computer Engineering degree. t Louisiana Tech University and doing very good. She just got a great scholarship and award. She plans on getting her masters dregree then will head home to NC. She is working in NC this summer, doing internship hours for school with a local architect. He would love to hire her when she graduates. All my children are doing very well in their lives and I am very proud of them. We live in Pinehurst, NC, the golf capital of the east coast. We love it here, the weather is great(summers about 85-90, winters 32 lowest, we have had snow 2 times in 4 years) and the people are so friendly. We are 2 hours from the beach and 3 hours from the mountains. It is a great place to live. Would love to have visitors any time.
