Cathy's Story
Life
I am still here enjoying life in the river city (Sacramento). I have a new position at the hospital where I work and I love every minute of it. I don't have any children, but I do have a terribly obnoxious amazon parrot, a cat and a tank of cichlids. I left Pinole after my freshman year in 1971 when my family moved to Sacramento (Loomis). I lost contact with many of my friends from Pinole Valley High. If you are one of them I hope to hear from you.

July 23, 2013 Update:
Since my last story I have now retired from UC Davis Med Center and following that I moved to Grass Valley for a three year vacation and loved every minute. I returned to my Sacramento home and I am hoping to sell my home and head back up to the mountains for good this time. After 32 years with my yellow nape parrot "Sinbad", I donated him to a member of the Sac Bird Society that had a lovely sanctuary for him to thrive in his senior years. I bought a new baby (and much smaller) Senega...Expand for more
l Parrot "Squishy" that can travel very easily with me and she is beautiful and certainly must be as she has now won 4 awards as a National Champion ... Yay Squishy!
I have been single since 2010 when I left Grass Valley and I have not really dated over the past 3 years since, but I am considering that it may be time to think about that again. I am looking forward to what beautiful options may cross my path. I feel that this next part of my journey will be my best!
I still spend much of my time doing medical and health research and freely offer my services, counseling and personal coaching to any and all of my friends, free of charge. I have spent my life in heath care and now that I am retired I am sharing my knowledge for the purpose of healing as a gift. I see that our thoughts and our food can be our medicine and even reverse the effects of mood and of aging to some degree. If anyone needs support, you are most welcome to contact me.
Peace, Love and Joy,
Cathy
