Life I am still here enjoying life in the river city (Sacramento). I have a new position at the hospital where I work and I love every minute of it. I don't have any children, but I do have a terribly obnoxious amazon parrot, a cat and a tank of cichlids. I left Pinole after my freshman year in 1971 when my family moved to Sacramento (Loomis). I lost contact with many of my friends from Pinole Valley High. If you are one of them I hope to hear from you. ~~~~ July 23, 2013 Update: Since my last story I have now retired from UC Davis Med Center and following that I moved to Grass Valley for a three year vacation and loved every minute. I returned to my Sacramento home and I am hoping to sell my home and head back up to the mountains for good this time. After 32 years with my yellow nape parrot "Sinbad", I donated him to a member of the Sac Bird Society that had a lovely sanctuary for him to thrive in his senior years.
