Cathy's Story
Military
I joined the military right after high school. I spent 21 years in the Air Force. It truly was a great wy of life. After basic training I was stationed in the Philippines. I was able to travel alot while stationed here. I vacationed in Korea, Japan and Guam. After the Philippines I moved to San Antonio TX. I was stationed there for 11 years. time for the military to keep you 1 place so we eventually got orders to Hawaii. We were thrilled. We lived the dream for 4 years. My husband retired from the military in Hawaii but I unfortunately could not. We got orders to Mt Home Idaho. I stayed there for 10 months. Mt Home was humbling for us. Not at all the lifestyle we had become accustomed to. We learned alot while stationed there but it was not "home" I retired in Dec 2005 and we are now living in San Antonio, again.
