Cass's Story

Life Now nearly four years post-surgery, put back on a little weight, but it's on its way off now. Dan and I are great-grandparents. Grandon Zachary has a little boy of his own in Seattle and granddaughter Meaghan and hubby Ray Gibson are the proud parents of young Miss Kennedy Gibson, born, thank you veddy much, in jolly old England (mom and dad are both in the AF, dad on deployment, mom at the base). All the younglings are well. Audrey, Gareth, Gabriella and the cats are in New York; Diana and Rick are in Vegas with Annalise (7th grade) and Rylan (6th grade) and three German shepherds. Amanda and Cali (who will be 3 in January) are in Ontario. Jacob is still my at-home one, working on independent projects and writing. Dan is still with the sheriff's department, now at HQ in San Bernardino. Neither of us has any immediate plans to retire. When one chooses civilian positions with law enforcement and legal services for careers, there's not much opportunity to stash a lot away. Guess we won't be subject to any new taxes 'cause ...Expand for more
we shure aren't rich! College Attended Mt. SAC, Citrus, Chaffey and Cal State San Bernardino. AA from Chaffey in 1988; J.D. from University of La Verne College of Law in 1993. Workplace I'm a solo practitioner her in Rancho Cucamonga doing a little bit of everything but criminal work and serving in LA and Riverside counties as a temporary judge. I always wanted to be a Lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to charity, then spend the rest on family, family and family. My current age is 65. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong, thank God.. My best friend would tell you I'm warm, funny, scary smart, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up. My first job was at Erma's Employment Agency, where I got paid $50/week to match people with jobs. What I remember most about it is I did all the scut work and never got the commissions..
