Cathy's Story
Well I'm back in Lakeside...!
...as a LUSD teacher.
It's amazing how many of my El Cap Alumni friends have students and grand-students in our district!
I have worked and lived in other places, and have also visited many others, but now I find myself back here. That is one of my life's biggest surprises!
I teach a multi-grade blended learning class at Lakeview Elementary. I have 1 son...Expand for more

The picture is of me and my two boys. They are very different. but both very lovable. All three are grown and on their own now. It's crazy to think that is even possible!
I love my job. Teaching keeps me very busy. Yet, I am also my local teacher's union president.
Even though it's been almost 30 years since high school, life just keeps getting better!
