Got a B.A. in Art from San Diego State in 1971. In 1974 I lived and went to school in Paris, France for a while. Still love that place Haven't lived in San Diego since 1978 when I left to go to grad school in NY City at Columbia University.. Worked for a couple of years as an Occupational Therapist in Los Angeles, then took a job with the Department of the Army in Germany for three years. Had my son, who is now 30, there. Was lucky to be able to see a lot of countries during that time including Egypt. Wanted to live where there were trees, so on my return from Germany I moved to upstate New York and bought a big red house. Still worked as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting. Moved to New Zealand in 2004, where my sister lives, and stayed there for about a year and half. Had a great time there and may return again possibly as a snow bunny. Came back to the same house after New Zealand, where I've lived ever since. We have fruit trees, berry bushes, a large organic garden and even try to grow mushrooms in our back yard. Trying to stay fit by walking 4 miles 4 times a week. Volunteer at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York during the summer months. May be working for a...Expand for more
