Write my story? Wow, is there that little to read out there? Well, as any of you that knew me back then, when Dad retired, he moved us all to Oklahoma ... the start of a downhill slide. I actually graduated from Stroud High in Stroud, Oklahoma ... got married RIGHT after graduation and had two children ... that marriage lasted 14 years. I remarried in Hominy in 1989, that one lasted 22 years ... ended this year, just a few months ago. This one, I think, would still be ongoing if it weren't for a bout with cervical cancer. We fought that cancer tooth and nail and finally whooped it ... kinda reminded me of some of the scrapes I got into in the "good ole days" ... I took a licking but kept on ticking. Just a couple of months after her cancer was cut out of her ... she decided it was time to move on ... without me. The cancer, radiation, and chemo had pretty well destroyed her sex drive (for a lack of a better way to put it) and she had decided that it wasn't fair to either of us to continue in a relationship that can't keep growing ... where the he** that came from is beyond me ... nontheless, that pretty well brings you all up to date with what's gone on in my meeger life....Expand for more
