Cecilia's Story
Hey yall.. I look forward to seeing you again...
this one is for US ....
Life takes us all in different directions,
reminiscing now our chapters, our sections
knowing that once we were Spirit unborn
but birthed, we awake in each awsome morn
to live life golden, to experience and share
to wonder and search, to nurture and care
from the seed of our ancestors to seeding our own
in a moment , time passes and we are "suddenly" grown
we speed ahead, in each drama we see
glimpses of where we shall be
when we arrive in our destiny
and we pause to remember
The girls we played with, laughed and danced
the boys we teased, loved, enhanced
the teachers who taught what they themselves learned
awards in school and in life well earned ,
the oceans and lands where we explored
our first real meeting with Jesus our Lord
our hopes and dreams and our aspirations
challenges, failures , expectations
our days filled with fantasy, excitement and joy
happy, contented, little girl. little boy
we pause for a moment to remember

hen we enjoyed one of God's greatest gifts
replicating, we became parents .. and now life shifts
we know the pain, the pleasure , the awe
we understand in part what we saw
we still wonder what it all really means
as we look back over life scenes
what we realize is that God has been there
we and our loved ones in His care
His Mercy to allow us to have great vision
His Blessing to fortify us with provision
His Grace to teach us how to love and to live
His Benovelence to help us to receive and to give
His Genius to impart wisdom and capacity
His Strength to enbolden our audacity
His Peace to comfort our moments of sorrow
His Hope to bring us through each tomorrow
His Spirit to help to show how we are fashioned
His Love to imbue us with highest compassion
And as we reach out to those we knew before
and carefully peek through the opening door
of our past, we see present and future too
the pure magic of memory that ties me to you
and we pause in this moment to simply remember
and give thanks
