Cecilia's Story
My married last name is Yunes-Davis.
After I graduated from Garffield I went on and continued my education.
I became a public schooll teacher and retired after 38 years of teaching in 2003.
I was married in 1973. Sadly we divorced and I had or have a son who is 36 yers old and is a great son.
His dad passed away this year in February.
After being alone along time I met another person and we got married. We have been married 4 years and 2 mos.
However, it seems we too had issues and we have a divorce hearing Oct. 7th.
I feel sad as we got along well, but there were many issues whee where we diff...Expand for more
ered and we were very unhappy. Sorry to admit but we are going to our first divorce hearing Oct 7th.
I had a bout of breast cancer in 2003. Thank God, I have been cancer free for 7 years. I think Classmates is a good way to rekindle friendships and meet new people.
I was thinking of going ti the reunion in Oct. but I willl have surgery and do not know if I will be physically able to attend.
Right now, I am coping with the loss of this maritall relationship.
I would like to be incontact with some people that went to Garfiield as I graduated in S 1960.
