Life The first time that I ever went to college was two years ago, and I dropped out after a few months. I always knew that all I ever wanted or want to be is a musician, and that's what I've been since I was eleven years old. When guidance counselors talked to me about spending four years furthering my education, I always thought, “What’s the big deal?” All I knew at that time was that you learn a couple of songs then you get on stage and perform them. I have to admit that I did do little bit of studying, outside of music. God has blessed me with the ability to thrive in many areas, because along with being a musician, writer and arranger, I’ve also been a Software Engineer for Boeing and Northrop Grumman, for the last seventeen years. But the greatest education I’ve had is learning how to live with a woman for 22 years. Dating was easy. If I didn’t like a situation or a conversation, I could get up and leave, especially since I was on the road most of the time. But I found a wife is so much different. I guess what I appreciate most is the loyalty between two people, although I’ve never really been tested, but Lisa has stood by me while I was knocking at Heaven’s door, twice. I still remember the friends that I had at North, although, I didn’t go to football or basketball games with them. Sorry about that, but after lunch on Fridays, my friends and I were in the back of a U-Haul, riding to a gig, somewhere between Green Bay and Rock Island. I haven...Expand for more
