It's hard to believe high school was almost 30 years ago! I don't feel older but the mirror and my two sons' handsome grown man faces tell me I am a lot older. After high school I went to Whittier College for two years, eventually ending up at Rio Hondo College where I completed their para-legal program. Never did work as a para-legal though, I had a family instead. While at Whittier College I met my husband Geoff English. We married in 1987 and had two sons pretty quickly. John in 1988 and Tyler in 1990. We had a cute little house in Whittier (by little I mean 900 square feet!). It was adorable and we did a lot of work to it but decided to move out of the big city to raise our family. We moved to Templeton, a small town on the Central Coast in 1990 and have never regretted the move. Geoff has had a long and successful career with the City of Atascadero (Recreation, then Community Services, and now finally Public Works). I was home with the boys for many years but have worked part-time since they were school age for the local school district and community services district.
