Celestine's Story
When I left high school I finished at MPC. In 1972 I got married to a really nice looking guy, the father of my child and a real jerk. We have 1 girl who is now 34 years old. I devorced him and had a wonderful single life exploring for about 8 years.
I moved to San Mateo, Ca. and worked in a Personnel Office as a Recruiter. While there I took classes on campus and on-line and got my B.S. Degree.
I became home sick and moved back to Seaside in 1983. A military man driving a white TransAm came into the "Oak Tree" (cocktail lounge) sweep me from the bar and I married him in 1983. rections/Tracy and retired once again in 2004. Don't let anyone tell you, you can't meet your "soul mate" in a bar. You meet wonderful people in strange places.
In 2004 we decided we wanted to retire while we were young. So we did and moved to his hometown in Greenville County, South Carolina.
I have been disabled since 2001 and can no longer work. However, you would not know it by looking at me. I still look the same. Except for the additional 50 lbs, which keeps lerking around for more food.
I hope to return to California in 2011. My mother, daughter, grandchildren, and other relatives still live in Seaside and nearby areas.
