Chad's Story

Life This is what it has come to I fill out a bio to see what my classmates have been up to for the last 20 plus years. Short and sweet I couldn’t find my direction in college so I joined an electrical apprenticeship in 1985. I ended up in Indiana in 1988 to finish my apprenticeship, building the Subaru/Isuzu car plant in Lafayette. I found my true love a young lady (and a daughter Lindsey nine years old) from Oklahoma in Lafayette. She was an apprentice electrician at the time as I. We traveled a bit working in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and parts of Wisconsin ending up back in Lafayette. We bought a dilapidated old house on New York Street in 1991 the same year we were married. By 1992 I was ready to be back...Expand for more
in Colorado and what luck Denver International Airport was coming out of the ground. The economy was good so we bought a home in Aurora in 1994. We went back to Lafayette to finish refurbishing the old house on New York Street so we could sell it and get back Denver. In 1995 we were back in town working, playing and having nothing but fun. By 1999 I was starting to think I needed to go back to school and chase after a life long desire to be a pilot. So I started school at Metropolitan State College of Denver in January of 1999 majoring in Aviation Technology. I hope to graduate in late 2005 and start a flying career. Time has flown by and now I am a grandfather of three boys, Drake 5, Preston 3, and Brent 4 months.
