Pete's Story

Just finished my 25th year in Lyon County School District! I have been a teacher/coach at Fernley High, Assistant Principal at Silver Springs Middle and Fernley High, Principal at Silver Springs and Fernley Elementary, Director of Curriculum and Accountability, and now I am once again an Assistant Principal at Silverland Middle. ) 18 years to Diane. I have a daughter Brooke (10th grade) and a son Thomas (8th grade). They are both three sport athletes at their schools and I am very proud of them! I hope their endeavors will relieve me of college tuition! I am addicted to big game hunting, slaying chukar (hope we get a hatch!), catching walleye and big red (at Pyramid) and cold beer!
