Charise's Story
I graduated High School at 15 and then got my Associates Degree in 1974 at age 17. That summer I moved to Texas and took a job doing Seismic Survey work. I married at 18, had a baby at 19 and left when he was 3 months old after my deceased ex-husband laid his hands on him once! There would never be a second chance.
I married my wonderful husband of 33+ years when my son was 7 (1983) and in the package I received 4 amazing children, making our family of 5 kids. We moved to Wyoming in 1989 and have been here since. ...Expand for more
My husband is retired and I am medically retired, so we live a wonderful life with our grown children close, two dogs (we rescue just about every dog that crosses our path) and Roller Derby!! I cannot skate anymore so am on the Coaching Staff here, and am team mom to roller derby teams from Texas to Edmonton! I also do quite a bit of volunteer work in the community.
With the exception of my mom, sister, and nephew, all my family is still in Canada, so I get home at least once a year for a few weeks. Life is good!!
