Charla's Story
Life
I left Anderson, CA in 1977 and moved to Richland, WA. I graduated in 1980 from Richland High School. Got married in May of 1983, and divorced in Dec. 2000. I have two children a boy (Ryan) and a girl (Ashley). My son graduated from Richland High School in 2003 and my daughter graduated in 2004 from the same school. Seven days after my daughter's graduation, she gave birth to my first grandchild, a boy. They named him Dominic Lee. My daughter got married in Aug of 2005 to David Corbin (class of 2003 Richland High). In the spring of 2006, I found out that I am a grandma again. My son gave me another grandson, his name is Joshua James. I still live in Richland, WA and have kept in touch and try to visit often with my best friend Kathy (Thompson) Haynes (Class of 1980) of Anderson, CA. kept busy raising my children. Now I get to enjoy my grandkids who keep me busy and I get to watch them grow.
I HAVE SOME UPDATED NEWS.....
On Oct. 12, 2007, my son and his girlfriend Cat had my third grandchild, a boy they named Max Aiden. He was born on his brothers' birthday. At least my son has an easy way to remember both his sons birthdays..... That makes three grandsons. Now I need a granddaughter!!!! But I think that will be awhile.

On Aug 14, 2009 my son Ryan and his girlfriend Cat will be getting married finally!!!!! I guess they did things backwards and had their kids first before the marriage hahaha. I am very proud of both of them and how they are raising their boys.

On Sept. 26, 2009 David Lay (class of 1977 AUHS) & I got married. We dated in high school and then I moved to Richland, WA. We lost contact after writing to each other. Then in 2006 I found him again and the rest is history!!!!
