Greetings Old Friends...
Life is nice up here in beautiful Lake Norman, North Carolina. I got married in 1998 and we moved to Conifer, Colorado. We lived up in the mountains about 45 minutes from Denver. Our house was at 9.000 feet altitude!! Quite the change from sea level. It was wonderful, waking up and having elk and/or black bears in the yard.
But it only lasted two years and we moved again, this time to North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte. It's nice to have seasons and cooler weather, but there is nothing like living 25 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world like in FLA. It's easy to get homesick.
But luckily we get to go back to Tampa a lot,...Expand for more
and to Colorado too.
I have a horse Arthur, that I have had for 18 years and he has moved with us also. I work as an esthetician in a day spa and have really enjoyed my second career. When I was still in Florida, I owned a "saddlery" in Odessa. It was very rewarding but I needed a career that would allow me to work anywhere because I knew that my husband would have opportunities to live in different cities and I wanted to experience life outside of Tampa for a while. It's been an adventure!!! And I hoping for many more.
