Life
After being married for almost 18 years, Brian and I went our separate ways .. that was over 15 years ago!! Where does the time go? My kids are all grown (Kevin, my son, is in California running a warehouse for his company that is based in Seattle. Mindy, my daughter, is a private pilot for a man who made his money in Alaskan oil. She's been married 5 years and, no, no grandchildren just a grandpuppy! My oldest, Adrian, who I inherited when he was 12 (my ex's nephew), has his own painting business in Washington.) So, you see, my kids are up and down the coast. rs and then worked for a Health Ins. Company for 12 years ... both holding a management accounting position. Last January (2007), I 'left' the corporate world and took a job on the pipeline in Alaska. Yep, I live right off the Artic Ocean and the winters are a bear!! I'm now just a lowly admin assistant and love it.... of course working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off is a major PLUS!! My new job allows me to do what I love most and that's travel. All my friends say that I'm 'semi-retired' which I think I agree with! The other exciting part is that for 2 weeks, someone COOKS my meals for me ... YEAH!!! LOL!!
