Charlene's Story
Attended LA Pierce after high school. Met my husband there. We were married in 1966. Spent 3 years In Las Vegas, NV while he was in the Air Force. After the service we spent a year back in California, then moved to Wyoming, where we lived for the next 27 years. I have worked at a number of jobs; a lot part time, some overlapping, so if you added up all my years of work, you would get far more than 50. I have worked as a waitress, dental assistant, managed my own business, driven school bus, delivered mail, counted cows for the dept of Agriculture, read water meters, office clerk for a lending institution...Expand for more
, worked in Law Enforcement, worked the US census, then, when my kids were in college, I went back to school and got a degree in nursing. I spent the last years of my working life as an RN. After my husband retired from the Coal Mine, we 'bought the farm' and moved to Idaho. In retirement I do whatever I want. Draw, quilt, sew, knit, crochet, read, travel to see the kids. I love music. Bach, Beethoven, and newer offerings also. (Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, currently) Afraid I am a Marvel fan, and like the adventure type movies. (RIP Stan Lee.) TV, I like game shows. Public television. .
