Charlene 's Story
Hi!
Charlene (Charlie) (Char) (Trueax) Robley here. My husband, Don (Grossmont HS '61) & I have been married for 49 years in April '14. (Is THAT even possible??!!!) We have lived in Washington state since 1970 and love it up here in the beautiful green state. We are blessed with 3 wonderful children who have given us 8 terrific grandchildren.
I have been a teacher of one kind or another most of my life: piano, elementary school, parent-infant instructor, aerobics instructor, Basic Skills, GED, and English teacher for a community college, and for many years had my own business giving private tutoring and piano lessons from which I am now retired. I'm having fun making good retirement income with another business that lets me meet lots of ladies through the shows I give as an Independent Jewelry Fashion Consultant with Premier Designs - I'm just teaching something different!

erapist and was very good with his patients who quite often asked especially for him because of his unique caring attitudes. He is now retired & we moved nearer 6 of our 8 fantastic grandchildren who range in age from 21 down to 2-1/2!
When our oldest child was a few weeks old, we both became members of the Baha'i Faith. It has been a marvelous spiritual journey for us as we've learned about and practiced unity with all peoples. Besides being married to each other and loving our children and grands, the best decision we ever made was becoming Baha'is - true guidance for our lives!
We enjoy gardening, traveling, camping, hiking, reading, movies, being with our kids and grands and friends, playing games - especially word games to keep our brains young, backgammon, pinochle & Settlers of Catan. We especially enjoy doing things in service for others.
We've learned that "Life is not an emergency" and that "Mankind is One!", so we are content and happy in our lives and relationships with others.
We'd both enjoy hearing from other friends from the past, so send us an e-mail, and we'll respond as soon as we can.
