Life
Not much to talk about. I left school in my junior year to get married and started my family. I have two children, Travis who is now 40 years old (ouch!) and Colleen who is 36 (more of the same). Time has spun by and I am now a grandmother of six wonderful joyous kids ranging in age from 2-16. My son Travis has four children, Cody (13), Krista (9) and twins Kendra and Blake who are (2). My daughter Colleen has two children, Amanda (16) and Benjamin (14). I went back to adult school and graduated with honors and later, very much later went on to the University of Central Arkansas and received a BS in Dietetics. Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service in Melbourne, Arkansas. My daughter moved here first and begged me to come out. I was living in Utah at the time and loved it. I still owned a home in CA, so I sold it and quit my job in Utah and moved out here. It was pretty rough going for some time, however I managed to hold my head above water. When I lost my job at Farmers Insurance I decided it was time to make a change in my life, soooo at the age of 53 I went back to school and in 2 1/2 years graduated with a 3.5 and was hired by the UA even before I graduated! What an emense change in my life. I have been working here for 2 1/2 years now and I love teaching!!
