Charles's Story

Chuck lives in Piermont, New York with his wife (Fran) of 47 years. They have two sons, Jeremy and Lee and daughter-in-law Randi. Chuck attended DeWitt Clinton High School. Chuck later attended and graduated from CCNY (Baruch) and St. John's Law School. At age 33 Chuck was elected as Haverstraw Town Justice and served for 27 years. In 2006, Chuck was elected County Judge, was designated as an Acting Supreme Court Judge and as Supervising Judge for the Town and Village Courts in the 9th District. isdemeanor and Felony Drug Courts. Chuck's term came to an end December 31, 2016 and is now practicing law with the firm of Phillips and Millman in Stony Point. In January, 2020, Chuck was appointed First Assistant District Attorney for Rockland County in charge of the Alternative to Incarceration Programs. In October, 2020, Chuck published a memoir entitled " Social Worker with a 2' by 4' about his experience as a Drug Court Judge and about the twists and turns his life took to be able to be in a position to positively affect so many lives.
