Life Within 10 days of graduating from high school I joined the Navy and became a member of the Submarine force (I was bored, what can I say!)and for the next four years I ran all over the planet supporting extensive military operations in Central and South America, participating in the invasion of Grenada, supporting the Royal Navy in the retaking of the Falkland Islands, supporting a Marine expeditionary force in Beirut, Lebanon, successfully launching two Trident 1 missiles down the Eastern test range and other numerous intelligence gathering operations around the world--All in all a very well rounded experience. After my discharge from the Navy I went to college and graduated in 1988 with a degree in Information Resources Management from SIU. Between 1988 and 1994 I worked various I.T. related jobs in the Chicago area getting my career in order--then the whole Internet thing broke wide open and I was able to take advantage of my extensive exposure to advanced information technology that I received while I was a member of the Submarine force and I made a dash for the cash to secure a cushy CIO job with a West coast-based organization. Got married in 1998, (I know, me a confirmed bachelor, go figure?) had an absolutely gorgeous set of twin girls in 2000.They keep me on my toes pretty much 24/7 but I wouldn’t trade my life for the world! School Two absolutely miserable years at Loyola Academy. Finally getting to HPHS and having the time of my life. Learned more, saw more, experienced more and did more in those two years than all the years previously.
