Charles's Story
Life
Hi Class of 1986,
Shortly after graduating from Riverdale I joined the Army Reserve for 3 yrs. After my short stay in the reserves I began working to earn a living. I started out just doing construction and landscaping.
I decided that that kind of work was not something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life so I went to Dekalb tech and became an EMT. I met my wife Melisa in 1992 and we were married in 1993. This is the same year that I was hired with the Henry County Fire Department. This turned out to be the best job that I could have hoped for.

. She is definetly the best thing to ever happen to me. She is blood that makes my heart beat. I love her to death and she is and always will be the most spoiled little girl that I know.
In 1998 I was promoted to the positon of lieutenant with the fire department. I have been a company officer ever since. This has turned out to be a great job. Not only do you get to do all the so called cool stuff that firemen do but since we work 24 and off 48 I am able to run my own Landscaping Company.
Well that pretty much sums up my life since High School. Hope to see some familiar faces at the reunion.
