Short Outline: Here goes: Graduation 1964 - worked at Walgreen's in Parkwood Plaza - drafted into US Army Feb 1966 - Basic Training at Ft Carson, CO - Advanced Individual Training at Ft Ord, CA - Officer Candidate School at Ft Benning, GA - Commissioned as a 2LT in Military Police Corps Feb 1967 - MP Officer training at Ft Gordon, GA - first assignment is 503 MP Battalion at Ft Bragg, NC - picked up my future wife at a Texaco station just off base on Yadkin Rd - deployed to the Pentagon in Oct 1967 as first line of defense during one of the largest anti-war peace marches - Married Lee Susan Barco on Dec 9, 1967 - Mar 1968 I was assigned to the 2nd MP Co, 2nd Inf Div, South Korea as a 1LT - Mar 1969 I returned to the states as a Captain and the CO of the 115th MP Co, USMA, West Point, NY. I resigned my commission in Nov 1969 so I could join my wife's father in Fayetteville and help run a Western Auto franchise - after 3 years we moved to Kissimmee where I joined the Kissimmee Police Dept in Jan 1973 and I worked my way up to Det LT in charge of CID - 1974 I went to the 10 year class reunion where I was voted the guy with the least amount of hair at the age of 28 and I have even less hair now so I am sure I could retain that title even thru the 50th Reunion should I want to embarass myself again - obtained my Criminal Justice Degree from Rollins in 1979 and then moved to Wellesley, MA in Feb 1980 to ...Expand for more
