Charles's Story

Life Currently living and working in Atlanta, GA as a consultant & engineer in the datacenter and physical security industries. I am also in the process of completing studies toward an MBA in Technology Management. I still play saxophone and do audio/sound engineering on a volunteer basis. Married since 1987 to my wife Cheryl. Daughter Stephany (18) and son Nicholas (10). School Born & raised in Baltimore, I attended Randallstown Elementary for six years. Didn't find my niche until I played saxophone & trumpet in school band and discovered music. Major musical influences were trumpet players Bill Chase & Maynard Ferguson and groups like Chicago & Blood Sweat & Tears. I later moved to Virginia Beach where I attended Jr/Sr High and continued to play saxophone, influenced by David Sanborn, Joe Farrell, & Michael Brecker. 30 years later, my favorite artists on saxophone are Warren Hill, Bo...Expand for more

Prior: completed Bachelor of Arts in Music at James Madison University. Internship in Audio Engineering & Production. Performance major on Saxophone. Workplace Over the years, I have worked in computer and business machine sales. From 1998 to 2001, I worked for NetRail, an Internet provider based in Atlanta GA, responsible for the company's corporate security and datacenters in Atlanta, Chicago, and Arlington VA. After the "internet/dot-com" crash of 2001, I switched gears and worked for E*Trade Financial as a securities representative and later as a Data Center Systems Specialist for Interland, Inc., responsible for managing their Atlanta data center. I currently work for GSD Services Inc., a Security & Low Voltage Contracting Firm.
