Let me start by saying that I joined the Navy before I Finished High School at the tender age of 17. I enlisted in the Navy on my Birthday on July 16, 1970 as a volunteer for the Submarine service. I would have graduated from Southwest Miami High in June of 1971 had I remained in High school. I did eventually obtain a GED along with an Associates and two Batchelors degrees. I retired from the Navy at the end of May, 1993 after my last stint which was running the Submarine Sonar training Division at Naval Submarine School, New London Connecticut. I settled in Brevard County Florida(the Florida Space Coast),55 Miles East of the Orlando area. I took a job at a large RV retail chain in Central Florida as the Government contracts coordinator in June of 1993 until December, 1994 at which time I started my first company Temporary Disaster Shelters (TDS) providing post catastrophe housing for the insurance industry and FEMA. I owned TDS until April, 1998 at which time I sold the company to a competitor and formed a new company, North American Catastrophe Services (NACS)to build Mobile Command Post's for the public sector and mobile claims offices for the major insurance companies and after a two year period, I got back in to the business of providing temporary housing to F...Expand for more
