College After graduating from Perry Baptist High School in Michigan I attended Liberty Baptist College for one year on a tuition scholarship as an English Education major. That was the only year I attended full time. I didn't resume college until many years later as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. I took American Government while I was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan the first time through University of Maryland's asian campus. I then transferred to Yuma, AZ. where I took Intermediate Algebra and ENG101 at Arizona Western College in 1996. I was stationed stationed in Havelock, NC from 2003 until February 2008, and attended classes regularly at Park University based out of Parkville, MO. I graduated, Magna Cum Laude, on May 13, 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Logistics. I earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management at New York University, graduating in May 2017. Workplace 1983-1984: Ypsilanti Free Press in Ypsilanti, MI. 1984-1988: Served on active duty in the U.S. Navy, primarily as a Quartermaster aboard the submarine USS Sunfish, SSN 649 based in Charleston, SC. 1988-2011: Served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. My primary occupation was aviation electronics technician working on deceptive electronic countermeasures systems used in the F/A-18 Hornet and A/V-8B Harrier fixed wing aircraft. I spent three years turning young civilian boys into Marines as a Drill Instructor (DI) from October 1997 until November 2000. I served as the Adjutant and Avionics Lead Instructor for the aviation maintenance school command at MCAS Cherry Point in coastal North Carolina.
