1977 to 1981 - mindless carousing and debauchery
1981 - expelled from college for "being too damned frivolous"
1982 - sowed wild oats
1983 - reaped a harvest of child support payments
1984 - grew enchanted with new girlfriend, grew disenchanted with the law
1985 - rejected clerkship at U.S. Supreme Court, too much legal mumbo jumbo
1986 - crammed for bar, passed on 11th try
1987 - self-employed, i.e., no job offers
1988 - nearly disbarred

1992 - started microbrewery
1993 - floated around in inebriated haze
1994 - sobered up
1995 - decompensated
1996 - reinvigorated
1998 to 1999 - ran through fortune, spending on sex, drugs and rock and roll, the rest wasted
2000 - diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic
