Life After gradurating from westchester in June of 1971, I attended Southwestern Jr. College for one year. Since I was uneasy about being drafted into the Army, I joined the Naval Submarine Service and specialized in Advanced Electronics and Sonar. I married in May 1973, had a son (Dion) in Oct 1973 and then Daughter (Keesha) in May 1775. We lived in Hawaii for 4 years before divorcing in 1976. I returned to San Diego in Jun 1978 for shore duty for two years. I left the service went to SDSU and went to work as a Solar Energy Consultant, I sold Life Insurance, worked at General Dynamics as a Test Technician, and I had a Production Company producing Concerts and dances in the San Diego area. I joined the Reserves in 1984 as a TMAC (Temporary active Reservist) in which I didn't drill like a normal Reservist but I was stationed at the Naval Training Center and tought Basic Electricity an Electronics for a year and then transferred to the Company Commander side of the Command. After spending five years as a TEMAC the program was going to be eliminated so I had two choices, to go into the regular Navy or go back into the regular Reserves. ...Expand for more
