Charles's Story
Life
Following college in West Virginia, I went to Long Island to work for the Boy Scouts for several years. I then became the chief professional officer for a United Way. In the mid 70's, I moved into health care as a fund raiser having worked for three hospital organizations. rojects. As of June, 2003, I launched my own consulting business in fund raising, marketing and public relations. In 2006, I joined CCS - Community Counselling Service as a Senior Director, a fund raising, public relations and research consulting firm based in NYC. My wife of 38 years and I live in Madison, CT. We enjoy sailing, gardening and our Portuguese Water dogs. We are active in church and sing in the choir. We enjoy our life and friends. We now have a condo in Hilton Head, South Carolina where we enjoy the beach and relaxation.
