Dr. Charles's Story

Life “Experienced hands rendering loving care” is the maxim of Dr. Charles B. Lerner. It is also the summation of Dr. Charles B. Lerner’s career as a healer. In his fifteen years of private practice as a Chiropractor, Dr. Lerner has mastered the multi-dimensional challenges presented by our bodies under stress. He has specialized in acute care as well as having treated many chronic patients. Beginning as a licensed massage therapist at SOMA, in Oakland, CA in ’75 and a published staff research associate at UCSF Medical Center from ‘74-76, Dr. Lerner’s scope of professional training and continuing education in complimentary medicine has developed and broadened. iced on the West Coast and from 1990 to the present, he has maintained a private practice in Madison, CT and recently, in Bantam, CT, as well. To round out his commitment to public health and education, Dr. Lerner has taught as Assistant Professor in Clinical Services at the University of Bridgeport (1993-95) and has been acting a liaison between the World Federation of Chiropractic and the United Nations, at the annual meeting of the World Information Transfer, Inc. In addition to treating and teaching individuals, Dr. Lerner’s goals include a commitment to making a contribution to global health. He is currently investigating the possibilities for sharing his focus on health on a world- wide scale through the Department of Traditional Medicine at the United Nations. Dr. Lerner was born in Roslyn, New York. He resides in Bantam, CT. He is the father of two children, Gavin, 17 and Danielle, 12.
