Charles's Story
I joined the Marine Corps in 1968 and went to Vietnam in 1969. I got out of the Marines on my return but then joined the Fla. National Guard in 1977 and retired from it in 1998. In 1978 I joined the Leesburg Police Dept. In 1983 I moved to Pasco County and worked for the Pasco Co. Sheriff Dept. until 1986 when I moved to Volusia Co. and went to work for the Sheriff Dept. there. I retired in 2009 but then went to work for the State of Fla. in the Dist. Appeals Court in 2011. Gives me over 35 years in uniform as a cop protecting the people.
I have two sons, two step-sons, and four step-daughters, giving me a total of eight grandchildren. I love and am proud of them all. I have been divorced twice and widowed once.
My hobbies are Genealogy, history, religion, strategy games and survival.

ut through the escape chamber of a submarine. To survive in the jungle and combat medical training. I've had the thrill of high speed chases, kicking in the doors of buildings and searching for unknown suspects in the dark. I've been in the jungles of Vietnam and Panama. I've visited Australia and walked the Mayan ruins of Tulum, Mexico.
I have lived a full and fun life, learned a lot, suffered some, and am looking forward to what ever else the good lord has in store for me.
If you remember me. I was the thin skinny kid at the skating rink and hung out with some of the other no-so-cool guys who were my friend. My dad was a blue collar worker, so my car was an older one that I worked and made the payments myself for. By the way. If you remember the Senior placement tests we took. I scored 408!
