Life
What a long strange trip, huh? For those who may be interested, I now live outside of Pittsburgh and am an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Cardiovascular Research Institute. I graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in 1975, spent many years (until 1993) living in Cleveland Ohio and getting my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology. would never choose, but actually it is a good place to live. Last summer I was at Cold Spring Harbor for several weeks and took a visit to CI. Since it has been many years since I visited, it was quite a shock to see how far the place has fallen! The school (new when we graduated!) was weedy, crumbly, graffiti-tattoed, with a car on blocks in the front! Needless to say, the rest of the town was no better. I guess that the way it was, now only exists in our collective memories and copies of the Purple Patcher! Hi to all who happen upon these musings-Charlie
