Life
I teach second grade in northwest Indiana. I am married and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. I currently live in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, my 10th home in 28 years. This time around, I haven't even hung family photos. During summer, I love driving across the country, playing "Radar Love" as I go along. uch when the staff greeted me by my first name. I also adore book stores. For a while, I tried my hand writing romances, even placing first in a regional contest. But now, I'm far too busy. My teaching job suits me to a T as there is never a dull moment when you work with 8-year olds! Most days fly by--but when the class is out of their rabid minds, time seems to pass at a dead turtle's pace. Life is pretty good. Sure beats the alternative.
