Charles Peterson:  

I am a retired electrical engineer (Retired October 2008) who developed and designed electrical equipment for utility sub-stations and pole tops. I worked for Westinghouse/ABB (29yrs-Bloomington, Indiana), and Cooper Power Systems (1.5yrs-Olean, NY and 11yrs-Fayetteville, Arkansas). I have a BSEE from the Detroit Institute of Technolgy and an MBA from Indiana University. A few published papers. Six patents. Mentored many young engineers. Becki and I had been married since 1971 and have two grown daughters. We also have two young grand daughters (2006 and 2009). I lost my Becki to cancer in December 2013. I have started to write down some family history to pass on to my kids. This was the first time I have had control of my time and found writing to be a labor of love. I completed a volume of experiences Becki and I shared in raising and guiding the girls. I completed books about my experiences growing up in Highland Park, Cars I have owned, My Spiritual Journey, Dad at Grove and Hamilton, and a growing series of four page stories that may be included in future books. All volumes were written as gifts to our girls to pass down the family history and experiences as well as the joy of just remembering good times. Life has been good.
