Charles's Story
Life
After high school I attended Butler University and I.U. Indianapolis Law School. After passing the bar in 1974, due to a low draft number, I served as a judge advocate in the U.S. Navy for 4 years in Pensacola, FL. I married in 1971 to a Howe HS grad. We remain married with three adult children. In 1978 I left the U.S. Navy and entered private practice in a law firm with offices in Lebanon and Indianapolis. I now serve as one of two managing partners in a law firm of 15 attorneys. ...Expand for more
Although I work in a number of different areas of law, my client base is primarily related to rural electric cooperatives. In addition to working with these rural electric cooperatives I serve as General counsel to the Indiana Statewide Association of RECs and I serve on the board of directors of the Electric Cooperative Bar Association. My wife Sue and I have one grandson and a granddaughter living in Lebanon, IN, a daughter with 3 granddaughters in Jackson Hole, WY and a daughter in Muncie.
