Charlie's Story
Charlie is from Overland Park, Kansas. His schools include Shawnee Mission South High School, Shawnee Mission West High School. He later attended The University of Kansas, completing a B.A. in Math and the M.S. in Computer Science. . He worked at Independence Inc., RCIL (Resource Center for Independent Living, Inc.), and Micro Center after retiring from the Kansas Geological Survey where he worked as a systems analyst to develop an automated cartography system and a statewide cartographic database. He has been an advocate for people living with mental illness for the past 30 years.
Charles's interests include Swimming, Skiing, Basketball, Kansas Jayhawks basketball, Jimmie Johnson, mental health, train travel. Music he likes includes All the old 60's and early 70's bands, , lots of classical music, even my kids' music. .
