Charles's Story
Okay, here's what's been going on all these years!
I graduated from Colorado College in the summer of 1971 and started working in downtown Denver in September, 1971. I worked for U S Bank, out of Minneapolis, for 35 years. I was based in Denver the entire time and was an oil and gas banker. I retired from USB in 2006 and joined a team that took over management of Guaranty Bank and Trust in Denver. I was there in a business development role for 8 years before fully retiring in 2014.
My wife, Julia, and I were married in 1974 and will celebrate our 48th anniversary this Fall. Julia was an international banker based in Denver and travelled all over the world for 25 years before retiring. We have two sons who both live in Kansas City and work together for a...Expand for more
global marketing and advertising group. They were born and raised in Denver and are huge Bronco fans!! That makes being in Kansas City a bit of a challenge!! Chuck and Kristin have two daughters, 13 and 15, and Dan and Maggie have three sons, 2, 4. and 6 and another one due next month. Pure chaos!!! We have a second home in KC and spend a lot of time here.
We bought a second home in Scottsdale in 1998 and spent time there routinely during the winters until I fully retired. At that point we sold our Denver home and became full time Arizona residents.
We are blessed with a very close and special family and they definitely dominate our lives!! Activity wise, besides the family, we enjoy traveling and I have remained an active golfer.
