Charles's Story

Life My original Bronx Home was at 3055 Decatur Ave from 1944-1968 Father John A. d 1983 Mother Ann Lis d 2002 Sister Patricia born 1946 Sister Barbara born 1949 Brother John born 1960 d 1962 I attended St Brendan's School 1948-1957. I delivered NY Post/Bronx Home News 1955-1959 My High Schools were Cardinal Hayes 1957-1959 & Evander Childs 1959-1961. I attended Bronx Community College from 1961-1962. I enlisted in the US Navy 1962 and returned home from overseas in 1966 and went to work at the US Post Office in NYC until 1967. I married Nancy Gayle Jarac 01/18/67 in Atlanta Georgia I attended Albert Merrill Institute for Data Processing in NYC 1967-1968 and started my DP Career with GE Credit Corp in Stamford, Connecticut and Atlanta, Georgia from 1968-69. Then I went to work for Fulton National Bank in Atlanta and attended Georgia State College from 1969-70 while we were living in Atlanta. I was recruited to work at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida from 1970-71 for the launches of Apollo XIII & XIV. Our Son Jonathan was Born 03/06/70 in Titusville. artford Connecticut to work for Aetna Life & Casualty from 1971-73. I also attended the University of Hartford. We resided in Enfield/Hazzardville where our daughter Nancy was born 12/07/72. I was recruited to go to work for USAA Insurance in San Antonio Texas 1974-79. I graduated from San Antonio College 1974-76. I was a member of Company 4 of the Bexar County Vol Fire Dept from 1976-79. I started a new career as a Data Processing Consultant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin 1979-1986 We began our Revolutionary War reenacting Hobby in 1981. I worked for the Milwaukee Police Dept 1983-86 in Data Processing. We resided in Bay View along Lake Michigan. I served as Scoutmaster for our local Boy Scout Troop. I started a new DP Consulting business in Winston-Salem North Carolina 1986-1994. We Recreated the IV Continental Light Dragoons in North Carolina 1987. We made Rev War Reenactment trips to France in 1988, 1989 and 1992. We moved our DP Consulting business to Jacksonville Florida in 1994. Our last reenactment trip to France was in 2000. We are enjoying fun in the sun to the present day.
