Charles's Story
What can I say! After high school went to college and earned a BS degree. Never really used it. Married Lisa in 1976 and am still married. We have 3 adult children and 3 grand children 6, 4, and 3.
In high school if you would have asked me I would have told you that you would never catch me joining the military. How times change because in 1982 I joined the Navy and retired in 2002. It was interesting and rewarding.
We retired in Mississippi as my daughters both married guys from Mississippi so we stayed where the family ties are.
After retiring from the Navy I went to work for a defense contractor and am still there today.

ces we have lived since Fresno include Sacramento Ca, Idaho Falls Id, New London Ct, Moss Point Ms, and I was stationed 34 months on a ship home ported in San Diego Ca while Lisa stayed in Mississippi.
All I can say is it is kind of funny how our best laid plans donâÂÂt always work out. When we moved to Mississippi in 1991 it was supposed to be a 6 month stop on the way back to Calif. but due to economics Lisa never made the move and I ended up getting stationed here in Ms after my tour in San Diego.
Life has had its ups and downs but it has been fun and we are happy. I donâÂÂt think you could ask for anything better.
