Charles's Story
Life
After I left high school, I went to Navy boot camp in San Diego, CA. I was stationed in San Diego as an enlisted seaman for about 1.5 years, before I finished an Officer Candidate Program and went to school in Memphis, TN of all places.

e Navy, and I am now currently a lieutenant. I love my job here at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital, VA and have been involved with everything from taking care of patients from the USS Cole to meeting some of the highest ranking members of our government. I plan on completing anesthesia within a few years and will hopefully return that way someday after I go overseas. I miss all of my old friends and will definitely take leave to be at the reunion!
