Charles's Story
I'm still working fulltime doing neuro and interventional radiology in children (or as we say, sticking needles in children for fun and profit). Some of us don't know when to quit, and the recession didn't help. I have been happily married a 2nd time for 24 years. My wife Anna was a hospital director (whose work developing electronic medical record for the entire outpatient section of our hospital helped win the hospital two national awards) till they eliminated her position in 2009. at dunn-arch.com. We enjoy wine (visited wineries on long island in 2009, and 4 years at ZAP), food, and travel. Going to London and Bordeaux in 2010.
My two adult children live in Toronto. My son does TV and film sound recording, has been nominated for 2 Junos, the Canadian Emmy equivalent, and we unfortunately hardly ever see my grandkids. My daughter runs a dog walking/training business.
I remain pretty healthy thanks to daily doses of wine, though now missing one malignant kidney (but two is overrated). Life has been interesting. Occasionally painful, but interesting.
