Charles's Story
I really enjoyed high school and my friends there.
After HS I attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and graduated as an electrical engineer in 1965.
I was also commissioned as a 2LT in the field artillery (FA) and after FA school was assigned to Korea. After 13 months in Korea I was assigned to the RVN from 1967-68. I then had a tour in Germany and another visit to RVN from 1971 to 1972. As a captain I was assigned to teach ROTC at Canisius College it Buffalo, NY in 1972.
At Canisius I completed my MBA and met a wonderful woman that became my wife. I also decided to leave the Regular Army but I remained in the Reserves and retire in 1995 as a colonel.

g on a PhD in Operations Research (didn't complete) and worked as a technology engineer with Bethlehem Steel at the same time. When they closed the steel plant in Buffalo, I got into computers and eventually, became a director of IT for a large engineering firm in Rochester, NY.
We were blessed with a daughter in 1982 and now she is the joy of my life. She is working on her PhD in Cognitive Science at the University of Rochester.
Unfortunately, my wife was diagnosed with ALS and passed away 5 years ago. I decided to retire a few years later and dedicate myself to my hobbies.
I have been traveling and trying to reconnect with friends and would love to hear from classmates from Williamsport.
