Literary/Art Magazine with Teeth. Got a lot of good notice, made a lot of cool friends, traveled the country occasionally doing the slam poet/spoken word-thang...in '94 I assisted in organizing the first Underground Press Conference (UPC) at DePaul University in Chicago. 1997-present: Videographer, filmmaker, Access TV Producer---I work on several shows for several people but am best known for my own show, "The Abbey of the Lemur", which has courted controversy and gotten me into all kinds of trouble over the years. In short, it's been a very rewarding experience. 2001-2003--spearheaded the Fayetteville Underground Film Festival at the University of Arkansas----worked with some awesome people and had a blast. 2005-present: Got back into my first love, which is visual art. I've had public showings and have sold a painting so I guess that makes me a "professional artist" or something. Currently working at a local network affiliate as senior production assistant...learning a lot and there's a lot of room to move up. In April '07, at the ripe old age of 45, I walked down the proverbial aisle for the first time (we got hitched in a park--it was more like a bike trail than an aisle). I'm married to an incredible gal named Heather who is a total genius, also a professional writer and probably as big a postpunk slacker bohemian as I am. We have two pet rats and we manage to stay very busy and productive. Life has never been better!
