Charlie's Story
Life
Upon graduation from UHS, attended Nassau Community College for two years, then transferred to SUNY-Oswego, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Industrial Arts Education. Subsequently completed a Masters Degree in Education at City College of New York in Manhattan and completed post graduate studies in educational administration at Queens College.

and behold, I was recruited for a teaching job at UHS. Spent the next thirteen plus years there as a teacher and then a district administrator.
Since October, 1994, I've been employed by the Copiague Public Schools, first as the Director of Personnel,then Assistant Superintendent,Deputy Superintendent and as of July 2008, Superintendent of Schools.
I've been married to my wife Elizabeth (Abad, UHS '79) since 1987 and we have four sons, ages 13-19.
We currently reside in Wading River out on eastern Long Island.
