Life
In 1964 my date to our Sr Prom was Nancy Tischler(also Viking '64)( see "then" photo above). The last time I saw her was June 6 1964 when we walked across the stage to get our diplomas. I had already joined the Marines and she went to U of Fl and was a stewardess. and then teacher. No word or further knowledge of her until June 20th 2002 when I received an Email from her through classmates.com.We emailed, talked on the phone and I went to see her in July. We spent two days talking each others ears off and I asked her to marry me Oct 25 '02 and we did it May 31 '03. Our 15!Anniversary was May of 2018 and we are more in love than a year ago, or last week for that matter. ving in The Cascade Mountains of Oregon east of Salem. Our days don’t start early anymore but sometimes finish late. We love living in our cabin in the woods on the N Santiam River We have come to realize that neither of us are perfect individuals, but we are PERFECT for each other and that is so important. Except for the birth of my children (3, while Nancy has 1) I have never been so happy in my entire life. We look forward to the sun rising every day and are not too diligent about wasting daylight. We are both amazed at how events play off each other to bring people togther. Most folks take delight in hearing our story as a ray of sunshine seems rare these days. We are most gratful to Classmates for being the catalyst that helped us find each other again after 37 years
