Charlotte's Story

Osiyo All: My book was finally published on Sept. 29, 2009. It is for sale now on publishamerica.net website, once there just scroll to the bottom of the page and punch in the title of my book. "Where there's a will, there's a way: or you can also put in the ISBN# 1-60836-723-1 and click on the search button and it will take you to another page with a list of books mine will be at the very top of the page just click on it and it will take you to the correct page. This book is about my true life story about an accident that I was in back on Jan. 15, 2003 which nearly killed me. After several surgeries I ultimately had to have my right leg amputated, but the surgery was done wrong and I cannot wear a prosthetic leg because of it. This book also contains some very graphic photos of the rods and things that were in my right leg they show them going straight into my leg into the bone, plus I have one photo in there of my forehead showing a scar right in the hairline showing where I was scalped by the airbag of my vehicle. I also have photos of my vehicle in there too, I should have died that day but I guess it just wasn't my time to go. I am also working on a new book now the title will be, "Unwanted tales of Life and Fantasy Fact or Fiction you Decide." It will be about my true entire life story plus my dreams and my fantasies which will seem as if it is real and had already happened, plus there is going to be photos of every picture that I own in that book, well as many that will fit anyway from all my life from even before I was born until now the present day. By the time I finish it it will an awesome story one that your going to love reading even the true and actual stories that has really happened to me will seem so UN-believable but I do promise you those stories are very true you will not believe that that actually happened to me. I always wanted to be a singer/song writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were right, but I am a published author instead, haven't sold any copies via my publishing company yet but I have sold about twenty copies that I had purchased for book signing events from my publishing company. I no longer am able to work after my accident all the jobs I've ever done were standing on my feet all day long, plus this last accident scared me to much I no longer drive a vehicle anymore I only drive now only if I have to but I will not go to far away from my home unless my husband drives me. I cannot stand for very long anymore maybe a minute or two before I have to sit down or loose my balance and fall, when I go outside or to buy groceries I have...Expand for more
to use a walker I cannot get my power chair outside because I do not have a porch with a ramp we cannot afford to build one these days and I do qualify for a Government program so the Government would build me a porch with ramp but as it is there are no one in my area that works on those type of programs the ones that were doing it in this area stopped doing it a few years ago. Everything that I've ever needed in my life I'd had to fight like hell to get it, even when I had to have two hysterectomies and two surgeries to remove two cysts that weight 11 lbs each that was 22lbs per each surgery I do not have any children at all. I did however have at least six miscarriages though. But I do not regret not having children though I feel that I was lucky not to have any this day and age, because the world is going to hell in a hand basket the way this planet is today. But since I cannot have kids and have someone to carry on my name that is why I am writing books I would like to be remembered by everyone once I have passed on and go through Heaven's golden gates to be a very strong willed person but also a great friend. I used to be very shy never spoke unless I was asked a question but no days I speak what's on my mind. I was raised to be seen but not heard but that is all over with now, because both my parents and my twin brother "Charles William Brummett" have passed on now. Charles was murdered ten years ago today at 10:00am. I was working in a Dental Lab I was their Model Tech. at ten am I was standing at the model trimmer when all of a sudden I hit the floor not sure how long I was out but when I came to everyone of the people that I worked with including the owner of the Dental Lab was standing over me trying to revive me. I kind of knew that he was already gone but I didn't receive the official word that he was gone until midnight that night. Then just a few months later that year is when those planes flew into the twin towers in NYC everyone at my job watched it un-fold on TV. That was one year I'll never forget. The other year would be the day of my accident which changed my life forever it was on January 15,2003 at 4:02pm on HWY 290 S. heading into Brenham, TX. But you will be able to read all about those times in my new book that I am now in the process of writing hope it will be completed before to much longer. If you would like to read this new book now and are serious about purchasing a copy please let me know, the more people that want to read it will give me the incentive to hurry up and complete it. Thanks for stopping by and reading my story hope I will hear from you soon. Take care and have an awesome day.
