Charlotte's Story
I live in Clayton, Ok--it's 85 miles north of Paris, Tx.--but I still have my home in Hooks! There is a 1400 acre lake two miles behind my house. I have six children--4 boys, 2 girls--and 11 grandchildren. I am currently seperated.
I (or we) owned a convience store for 21 years. Don't want to do that again! I currently work for Choctaw Nation in Talihina, Ok. I worked at the Health Care Center for 8 years. Currently, I work part time at the Choctaw Nation Youth Center.
I sing Southern Gospel music with Randy Seyler, our name is Blessed, and we currently have one CD which we really did just for us because our other trio member moved and we wanted a recording of us together. People got word that we made the CD so we ended up distributed about 200 copies. Now we are hoping to make another. We sing at different...Expand for more
churches and events. I also sing with a quartet called Joyful Noise. We sing every weekend and I am loving it!
Other interest are travel, volleyball, working with upward program at church, concerts and just being goofy and having fun. Part of being goofy is the reason I am part of the "Talihina Gunslingers"!!! We did two short shows at our company picnic and we are doing three at our Annual Fireworks Display on the 3rd.
Other than that I enjoy my children and grandchildren, my oldest daughter is my traveling partner.
On July 13, 2010, my 16 year old grandson was killed in an auto accident, 12 days later my husband died and the next week there was a fire at my house (outside) that burned a Kubota and my son's pickup. But through it all, God has been good. Things are leveling out now and going a little smoother.
